Description: Davis Strauss, Gerald Ratner Distinguished Service Professor of Law at the University of Chicago School of Law, to launch lecture series on key legal and constitutional policy issues arising during the Bush administration. Strauss has served as special counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee, Assistant Solicitor General of the United States, and argued eighteen cases before the U.S. Supreme Court. The Duke Center for International Development invites you to a discussion
of the novel, "Whatis the What," by Dave Eggers, as part of the DCID Undergraduate Dinner
Series. Catherine Admay, J.D., Visiting Professor of Public Policy Studies and human rights
lawyer, will lead this informal session. Prof. Admay nominated the book for the Duke University
Summer Reading program, which requires that all incoming Duke freshmen read the book prior
to arrival on campus.
